I’m writing this post in honor of my 37th birthday, which is just around the corner.

Birthdays have a way of making us pause. They invite reflection, gratitude, honesty, and sometimes a little laughter about how quickly time moves.

They also remind us that growth rarely happens in straight lines.

Some years are about building. Some are about healing. Some are about surviving. Some are about rediscovering yourself after life asked a lot of you.

As I approach 37, I find myself grateful for every chapter—the easy ones, the difficult ones, the unexpected ones, and the ones I never thought would lead me where I am now.

And one of those chapters became McLamb Consulting & Support.

The Person Behind the Business

Behind the logo, the website, and the services is simply me—Amber.

A woman who has lived enough life to know that strength often looks quiet.

A veteran who understands discipline, commitment, and resilience.

A professional who values doing things the right way.

A creative who believes people are more than their titles.

A person who knows what it feels like to rebuild, recalibrate, and keep moving forward.

Like many people, I have worn many hats throughout life. Some by choice. Some by necessity.

I have learned how to adapt in changing environments, solve problems under pressure, stay organized in chaos, and continue showing up even when circumstances were less than ideal.

Those experiences did not just shape me—they shaped this business.

Why I Built McLamb Consulting & Support

This business was never created just to “have a business.”

It was created from something deeper.

I saw how many people were capable, intelligent, and hardworking, yet still overwhelmed by things like:

• Outdated resumes

• Disorganized paperwork

• Administrative overload

• Business growing pains

• Not knowing where to begin

Sometimes people don’t need magic.

At 37, I do not need life to look perfect.
