A Personal Update from Amber

Running a small business means wearing many hats.
Most days, those hats include legal support, document preparation, career services, answering emails, meeting with clients, and finding time to write between it all. I genuinely love what I do, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has trusted McLamb Consulting & Support.
Today, I wanted to share a personal update.
Over the past several months, I’ve been dealing with significant issues in my home stemming from long-term roof leaks. What initially appeared to be cosmetic damage has become much more serious, with extensive water intrusion and concerns about mold hidden within the walls.
As a result, I’ve made the difficult decision to relocate. It’s not a decision I came to lightly. Anyone who has experienced an unexpected move knows how overwhelming it can be—not only emotionally, but logistically as well.
The good news is this:
McLamb Consulting & Support isn’t going anywhere.
Because my business is fully remote, I’ll continue serving clients throughout this transition.
Consultations, document preparation, resume services, and administrative support will continue with the same commitment and professionalism you’ve come to expect.
If response times are occasionally a little slower during the moving process, I simply ask for a bit of grace as I navigate this season.
One of the values I’ve always believed in is authenticity.
Whether I’m helping someone prepare legal documents, polish a resume, organize their business, or simply offering guidance during a consultation, I believe people deserve honesty. That same honesty is why I’m sharing this update with you today.
Several clients and friends have asked how they can support me during this transition. While your referrals, reviews, and continued trust in my business remain the greatest support you can give, I have also created a GoFundMe to help offset the unexpected costs of relocating to a safe home.

Whether you choose to donate, share the fundraiser, book a service, or simply continue cheering me on, please know how much your support means.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Small businesses are built on relationships, and I never take your trust for granted.
Here’s to new beginnings, fresh chapters, and continuing to help others every step of the way.
With gratitude,
Amber M. McLamb
